This church did NOT have a graveyard.


This church was founded in 1879. It closed in 1976.

Pre 1873: Meetings held in a room off Quarry Street.
1873: School building opened (in Birkbeck Street?) and services held there.
1877: Church Foundation Stone laid.
1879: Church consecrated on May 21st.
Accommodation for 500, according to the 1930 Stalybridge Year Book.
